i realized that i never posted about the bands i saw at sxsw music this year! thanks to twitter i was able to use my digital memory to recall most, if not all, of the music i saw.
i thought maybe i didn’t see as many bands this year because i was way more laid back about what i saw and i also didn’t have a badge or a wristband, but i actually saw 27 bands over the course of four days....
duh.
i hate it when i see typos AFTER i post something - stupid fat fingers & fast typing & no spell checking before hitting “publish”!

I’m a very big Whit Stillman fan and this film is not currently in print on dvd, so this is amazing news for me. I had not seen the movie for about a decade, so it was quite a thrill to find that it’s even better than I remembered. (via Tyler Coates.)
